A redesign and development of a business coaching site. New services were being offered and the owner wanted to take the site in a new direction with new messaging, branding, and new content.
Project Summary
The original site was built on Hubspot. The mockup for the new site which contained a fresh new layout and new content to describe the services offered was built on a WP installation, and then transferred and rebuilt on the same Hubspot account.

Strategy
In this case, the content was the major focus. Sourcing for competitors and with basic descriptions of the new services offered, I created pages of new content for user and SEO purposes. We kept the website on Hubspot to keep the contacts, signups, and metrics in the same place without disruption. The new site was first built on a staging platform using a WP installation, and then migrated to Hubspot.
UX Design
Using Hubspot’s DND template builds, the new site was built by using the original templates and expanding on them with custom-built layouts and modules to aid in scaling from desktop to mobile devices.
Visual Design
I updated the color palette from the former design.

“Geometric sans serif typefaces have been a popular design tool ever since these actors took to the world’s stage. Poppins is one of the new comers to this long tradition. With support for the Devanagari and Latin writing systems, it is an internationalist take on the genre.
Many of the Latin glyphs (such as the ampersand) are more constructed and rationalist than is typical. The Devanagari design is particularly new, and is the first ever Devanagari typeface with a range of weights in this genre. Just like the Latin, the Devanagari is based on pure geometry, particularly circles.
Each letterform is nearly monolinear, with optical corrections applied to stroke joints where necessary to maintain an even typographic color. The Devanagari base character height and the Latin ascender height are equal; Latin capital letters are shorter than the Devanagari characters, and the Latin x-height is set rather high.” From Google Poppins Font

“Neue Helvetica is a melding of aesthetic and technical refinements that result in superior design proportions, improved legibility and an expanded range of uses beyond the original Helvetica typefaces
Neue Helvetica World fonts enable the setting of pan-European languages, in addition to Arabic, Armenian, Cyrillic, Georgian, Greek, Hebrew, Thai and Vietnamese. The Cyrillic fonts include full support of the Unicode block, including characters for Bulgarian, Mazedonian, Serbian and Ukrainian.
Other Monotype global fonts can be paired with Neue Helvetica World to create a more comprehensive global typographic solution.” From Linotype Neue Helvetica Font
Mobile
All pages were provided with a mobile design. Forms were simplified with easy-to-use “next” buttons for a simplified process.
