This was an existing site that had been migrated to a new server and had many problems related to this former migration. The separate downloadable app was also malfunctioning.
Project Summary
While keeping with the website’s current aesthetics and theme upon request, structural updates were made to enhance ease of the site administration when uploading new deals. The app was also fixed and successfully resubmitted to the Google and Apple play stores.

Strategy
Updates were made to the website to correct URL structures that had been broken due to a migration. A new system for handling deal posts was built with a custom post type with specific parameters and a custom template for display. The separate app was with the addition of separate scripts, CSS, and URL corrections.
UX Design
The design was kept primarily the same as per the client’s request. Some updated were made to the menu and navigational systems. The UX design was built using Genesis.

The colors remained unchanged.
